Beste allemaal,

Er is veel gebeurd de afgelopen maanden, maar daar ga ik het nu niet over hebben (eindexamenconcert? Welk eindexamenconcert?). Morgen speel ik mijn waarschijnlijk laatste concert van het seizoen, in het net geopende TivoliVredenburg. Ze hebben een Open Stage georganiseerd, en ik doe mee. Ik speel van 13:00 tot 13:30 Bach, Chopin en Beethoven, het is gratis op een toffe locatie, dus iedereen is van harte welkom.

Dear all,

Much has happened these past few months … but that’s not what I’m going to write about here (final recital? What final recital?). Tomorrow I’ll play what will probably be my last concert of the season, in the newly opened TivoliVredenburg. The producers organised an a href=”http://opening.tivolivredenburg.nl/open-stage/”>Open Stage, and I’m playing Bach, Chopin and Beethoven from 13:00 till 13:30. Entrance is free and the location is great, so do come!

Wat een fijne concerten in de Centrale Bibliotheek Utrecht, de Willem Barentszstraat te Utrecht, het Utrechts Conservatorium en University College Utrecht! Het waren fijne concerten voor een groot deel vanwege het fijne publiek. Dat hoop ik voor de komende concerten ook mee te mogen maken.

De komende twee maanden staan er ook weer een aantal concerten op de rol. Aankomende donderdag mag ik opnieuw in de Centrale Bibliotheek Utrecht spelen, ditmaal ‘s avonds. Ik zal op het conservatorium als duo met bariton Gulian van Nierop en als trio met klarinettiste Maartje Benders en celliste Laura Roura Foixà in een lied- en kamermuziekconcert, respectievelijk, spelen. Ook komt de laatste voorspeelavond van studenten van mijn docente Klára Würtz eraan, ook op het conservatorium. Dan een concert in Parnassos, het cultuurcentrum van de Universiteit Utrecht, waar ik de afgelopen jaren veel uren heb doorgebracht om piano te studeren of te repeteren met het Utrechts Studenten Koor en Orkest. Vervolgens twee concerten buiten Utrecht, in Haarlem en Vorden, spannend!

Dear all,

What lovely concerts in the Central Library Utrecht, the Willem Barentszstraat in Utrecht, the Utrecht Conservatory en University College Utrecht! The concerts were lovely for a large part due to the lovely audiences who came to listen. I hope to experience this pleasure in the upcoming concerts as well.

I have quite a few concerts planned for the coming two months. Next Thursday I will be playing in the Central Library Utrecht again, this time in the evening. I shall perform at the conservatory as a duo with baritone Gulian van Nierop and as a trio with clarinettist Maartje Benders en cellist Laura Roura Foixà in a Lied and chamber music concert, respectively. The last student concert of students of my teacher Klára Würtz is coming up, also at the conservatory. Then I will play a concert in Parnassos, the cultural centre of the University Utrecht, where I’ve spent many hours in these past years, studying piano or rehearsing with the Utrecht Student Choir and Orchestra. Finally I will play two concerts outside of Utecht, in Haarlem and Vorden, how exciting!

Het concert van vorige week in de Centrale Bibliotheek was fantastisch! Ik heb het sindsdien erg druk gehad met het plannen van andere try-outs en natuurlijk met studeren, waardoor deze aankondinging zo laat is. Morgen, zaterdag 22 maart, is het van 10:00 tot 16:00 Open Dag op het Utrechts Conservatorium, wat betekent dat er door de hele school heen allerlei gratis optredens worden verzorgd. Ook ik zal een concert verzorgen.

Dear all,

Last week’s concert in the Central Public Library was fantastic! I’ve been very busy since then planning other concerts and of course studying, causing this announcement to be so late. Tomorrow, Saturday the 22nd of March, the Utrecht Conservatory has an Open Day from 10:00 to 16:00, which means that there will be free performances throughout the entire school. I will also be playing a concert.
